Target Beauty Buys

As normal, I walk into Target with a few planned items to purchase… but then I walk through those doors and I know I lost…. But I’m so proud of myself, I didn’t go blackout target buys! So that counts as a win right?!

I ended up only buying three beauty items this time around, I wanted to find a nail polish that matched my bathing suit since I am constantly at the pool with the kiddos. I ended up finding it but then decided I also wanted a polish that leaned more on the natural side. I am a bright color nail polish kind of gal but was feeling a more natural look.

I used to bite my nails, like majorly nail bitter currently in nail-biting recovery haha. So to keep myself from bitting them I need to have them painted. I got my nails done twice now in the last few months and was too cheap to go and get them redone each time, so the process of removing the gel and dip polish made my nails so weak!

If you only get one thing from this post, just pay the money to have the gel or dip polish removed… It took so loong for me to remove them and I weakened them in the process. SO NOT WORTH IT…

I picked up these 3 items, 2 are new purchases and 1 is one of my go-to summer buys.

Sinful Colors – Shade 1702 Hush Honey – I am loving how this polish has a little bit of color and shimmer. Dries pretty fast and cost $1.09

As you can see how short my nails are, they need some tlc for sure!

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear – Shade 584 With The Beet. Dries fast which is important and matches my swimsuit which I am loving! Around $2 and change I believe.

If feet make you icky I am sorry! I am not a foot person either and I am not a fan of mine but I wanted to show you what the color looked like with my skin tone.

Maybelline BB Cream – Shade 130 Medium/Deep Sheer Tint. This is my GO-TO summer drugstore BB cream. I have been using this for years now and have not been disappointed. It’s an 8-in-1 Beauty Balm with an SPF of 30. Definitely, has a light coverage think like a tinted moisturizer. It Blurs, enhances, brightens, adjusts to skin tone, smoothes, hydrates, SPF 30 & 0% oils, and other heavy ingredients.

Before and After – As you can see it matches my skin tone perfectly, blends in smoothly.
